From Sampling to Bulk Production: Risk Checklist for OEM Drinkware Buyers
The highest sourcing risk often appears after the sample is approved. A good sample does not guarantee stable bulk production unless the approval package is complete.
Risk Checklist
- Color approval: Pantone, finish, and acceptable tolerance
- Logo approval: file version, size, position, and decoration method
- Lid approval: gasket, thread, leak test, and user scenario
- Packaging approval: inner box, carton marks, barcode, and drop handling
- Compliance scope: model, lid, coating, ink, and destination market
- QC reference: approved sample photos and inspection checklist
Best Practice
Freeze the specification after sample approval. If color, lid, logo, or packaging changes, treat it as a revised sample, not a small note in email.
